Favor Bag and Gift Packaging Guide: Size and Safety
Favor and gift packaging can look similar in styled photos while containing very different quantities and package types. Use this guide to distinguish one bag from a 10-pack, a cover box from a tote, wrapping paper from a finished bag, and a complete package from an accessory-only variation.
Confirm What the Variation Actually Contains
Read every design, size, quantity, and package label before checkout. A gallery may show several bags, flowers, candy, ribbon, gift boxes, cards, or display props even when the selected variation contains only one bag, one box, one paper sheet, one ribbon, or one accessory.
Measure Length, Width and Height
Compare the item being packed with all three bag or box dimensions. Allow space for handles, tissue paper, inserts, protective padding, and the widest part of a bouquet or gift. Supplier measurements may describe exterior dimensions rather than usable internal space.
One Piece or a Multi-Pack
Do not infer quantity from a group photo. Current products include single bags, single boxes, combined box-and-bag packages, 10-piece favor-bag packs, and paper options with different sheet quantities. Product pages state the confirmed quantity and identify unresolved supplier wording.
Candy, Snacks and Food Contact
Paper, cardboard, plastic, PVC, POPP, coatings, printing inks, glue, metallic film, and window panels should not be assumed food-safe. Place candy, snacks, baked goods, and other food in sealed food-grade wrappers or containers unless the packaging has documented direct-food-contact compliance.
Children, Handles and Small Parts
Handles, ribbon, cords, tags, buttons, cards, and detachable decorations can create entanglement or small-part hazards. Use favor packaging with adult supervision around young children, keep empty bags away from babies, and remove loose packaging after the event.
Paper, Kraft and Cardboard Packaging
Keep paper and cardboard dry and away from flames, candles, heaters, and wet contents. Load capacity, handle strength, recycled content, coatings, water resistance, and print colorfastness are often not documented, so avoid overloading the package.
Transparent Plastic and Window Bags
Check whether the transparent section is PVC, another plastic, or a window attached to a paper bag. Keep plastic packaging away from babies and children, and do not use it for direct food contact unless compliance is documented. Avoid heat and sharp gift edges that could puncture the panel.
Ready-Made Is Not Personalized
Choosing a fixed artwork, wording, color, size, or package style is not personalization. A product is custom only when the page provides a clear field for a name, message, logo, artwork, or other order-specific input. Products without such a field are supplied as ready-made designs.
